millimetre were commissioned by the Thames Diamond Jubilee Foundation to work with Joseph Bennett and Dominic Hyman to develop, manufacture and install a steel and faceted glass ‘diamond’ canopy; awning, ‘dias’ and forged gilt handrail for the Royal barge - The Spirit of Chartwell.
millimetre employed the services of Atelier One to engineer the canopy, working in conjunction with Dowland Naval Architects. millimetre also worked closely with sculptor Alan Lamb to ensure integration of the intricate column cladding and frieze.
