Glowacka Rennie and millimetre partnered to create a sculpture in the window of Hoss Intropia as part of the RIBA Regents Street Windows Project.
Under the theme of 'adaptation' this installation is formed of a 3D screen made from one single sheet of aluminium, which has been manipulated to form shelves and pockets to suit the display of clothes, shoes and accessories.
A repeated geometrical pattern is etched into sheet aluminium. Once folded each sheet transforms into a complex, three dimensional display.
Perforations in the surface and a golden iridescent surface finish transform the display from a shimmering surface in the day to a backlit silhouette at night.
