A rolled channel and angle sub frame set into the 1st floor holds and supports 2 layers of Pyrobel [fire resist glass] plus a ˜walk over’ laminated top surface. A design representing the original [damaged] ceiling rose has been blasted into the glass underside, cold cathode lighting integrated within the structure serves to highlight this design.

A copper/stainless ring on the underside of the structure drops down to form a support for the bespoke copper and blown glass chandelier belowThe 3 part perforated steel cylinder is plated with copper and patinated to match the stair below. Supported by the cylinder is an English Walnut Sculpted desk.
