Olive ash library

millimetre was commissioned to design, build and install a bespoke private library with a fresh contemporary feel. The wooden framework is constructed out of a solid ash matrix section, inset with a combination of copper, laminated and veneered boxes. The copper boxes are patinated in a dark bronze, then sealed and polished in organic wax. LED lighting and discreet desk space finish the piece.
