Victoria & Albert Museum Cromwell Road Entrance Reception Desk with Sam Jacob Studio

Working with Sam Jacob Studio, millimetre have produced the new reception desk for the Cromwell Road entrance of the Victoria & Albert Museum in central London.
Formed of patinated lacquered brass surfaces and a continuous backlit glass rod frontage, the elliptical desk provides a focal point for visitors to the museum.
With discrete black stained birch plywood cabinetry at low level and hidden recesses behind black tambour doors at worktop height, all service equipment can be easily stowed away allowing the desk to be used as a bar for private events.
